Glass Tempering

Tempered or toughened glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surfaces into compression and the interior into tention. Such stresses cause the glass, when broken, to crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards as annealed glass does.

Abbas Glass Group have 3 Temper Plants under different roofs. one of from which is MAPPI ATS 4.0 Size range of 3300×6000 mm.
